Hi Jane,
I really enjoyed reading your post, full of good tips about becoming a professional photographer. I don’t think I will ever have the courage to take that plunge, taking photos to order, but it would be really good to be able to do something with my photos such as making cards or calendars. I must look into it.
I can relate totally with running outside in your pyjamas to catch the light – as a (mainly) plant photographer it is very difficult to get a shot that is different. The main thing that is variable from all the other shots is the light, which can turn a perfectly ordinary shot into something magical like your cherry blossom. Thanks for all your advice on this post and elsewhere on your site.
