Composition Workshop – £55pp.
Saturday 16th February 2019 BOOK NOW
This composition course is suitable for anyone with a camera, whether it’s a phone, point and shoot camera or one with interchangeable lenses.
Do you feel a bit stuck in a rut with your photography? You know what settings you should be using but you struggle to capture images that are more than snapshots? Or you admire the work of other photographers on social media and in magazines, but feel that you couldn’t ever take images like that?
On this workshop we will look at the many composition rules that help you to create photographs that communicate what you saw and felt when you pressed the shutter button. Or tell the story you wanted to convey, or make the viewer ask a question and want to know more.
We will immerse ourselves in images, exploring what techniques have been used, asking why an image works or another one doesn’t. There will be an opportunity for you to review your own images and those of other people. This critique and self-critique will be instrumental in you developing your eye and becoming a better photographer.
We will cover many genres of photography, from landscapes to wildlife, street photography, portraits, still life and more.
We will be looked after wonderfully in the studio by Nic, with copious cups of coffee and tea and a delicious brunch, to keep our brains firing on all cylinders.
10.00am – 1.00pm. 6 people max
Brunch and light refreshments included.
Venue: The Studio, Wincham, Cheshire.
