Photographing birds of prey -£35pp

Tuesday 21st July 2020

An exclusive event for Love Your Lens at the Gauntlet Birds of Prey Centre in Knutsford.

This is a wonderful opportunity to photograph birds of prey whilst is the centre closed to other visitors. The owner and founder, Graham, will fly the birds for us, guiding us where to stand to get the best shot, advising in what direction the birds will fly and what exactly to look for, in terms of capturing each bird's characteristics and personality.

The emphasis will be very much on capturing birds in flight so it's the perfect opportunity for anyone wanting to practise focusing on and capturing fast moving action. I will be on hand to advise on camera settings and focusing techniques.

About the venue: Gauntlet Birds of Prey Eagle and Vulture Park in Knutsford, Cheshire houses over 120 birds from 46 different species. Established in 1996, Gauntlet is the largest collection of birds of prey in the North West.

Tea and coffee will be provided.

COVID-19. The Gauntlet Birds of Prey Centre has strict social distancing measures in place and Graham will give a health and safety briefing before you enter the centre.
