Photography isn’t about getting everything right. It’s about learning to notice.
Hi, I’m Jane - photographer, teacher, and someone who still finds joy in the small details a camera helps you notice.
I work with people who want to feel more confident with their camera or phone, but more importantly, who want to feel more connected to what they’re photographing.
Because taking better photos isn’t just about settings.
It’s about understanding what draws your eye, learning how to use light and composition in a simple, practical way, and building the confidence to trust your own judgement.

When people come to a workshop or a one-to-one session, it’s not about memorising lots of technical information - but you will come away understanding the key settings and how to use them with confidence. It’s about learning to notice more, trying things out without pressure, understanding why something works, and gradually feeling more in control of the images you create. That’s when photography starts to feel natural and genuinely enjoyable.
Alongside teaching, I’m also a professional photographer specialising in food photography, working with businesses to create natural, engaging images.
That real-world experience feeds into everything I teach, keeping it practical, relevant and focused on what actually makes a difference.
Over the years, I’ve worked with thousands of people, from complete beginners to businesses, always with the same aim:
To help you feel more confident, see more clearly, and enjoy photography in a way that feels like your own.
If you’d like to take that next step, you can explore workshops, one-to-one sessions, or training for businesses.
