Jane was knowledgeable about the different settings and editing effects that can improve otherwise poor phone snapshots. This has significantly improved my understanding of how to use my phone more effectively to capture moments rather than my point-and-click approach!

Alison Shockledge11/12/2023Thoroughly enjoyed Jane's 'Food Styling & Photography' Workshop. The session was well planned, set at a good pace and had plenty of content, with tips & tricks along the way. Jane was very person-centred in that she met everyone's different learning needs, whether that was someone with very basic digital camera skills (me) to another participant, who wanted more of a food styling and branding focus. Jane continued with the same enthusiasm and energy all day; wrapping the workshop up with a quick summary of an editing app. Made some great contacts and shared some fantastic ideas. Would definitely recommend any of Jane's photography course - 100% !!
Victoria Waller23/11/2023I had a great 1:1 tutoring session with Jane! She is very knowledgeable and is able to put information in easy to understand terms. I have been at the 'beginner stage' for a while after purchasing a mirrorless camera as an upgrade from my phone. There were some areas that I was struggling with in transferring my skills from my phone camera to my new mirrorless camera. Jane really helped me bridge the gap by helping pull all key knowledge together and filled in any areas I was struggling with lots of tips to get the best results. She also emailed to check on how I was doing to offer any further advice. Thanks Jane!
Graham Wood17/10/2023On the phone camera workshop, Jane expanded our knowledge and abilities on using the built-in controls. Most people had iPhones and Jane was very knowledgeable on those phones. Two of us had Google Pixel phones with the standard Android, but Jane was keen to help us as well exploring the capabilities that matched the iPhone doing similar functions but was just called different things. Lots of reminders on good composition and use of natural lighting. Thanks we enjoyed the course, and may even consider coming on another of yours some time.
Rosie Huckle02/10/2023I cannot believe how far I have come in just 4 sessions with Jane! From basically having no idea how to use my camera other than switch it on, I am now using the camera in manual mode confidently selecting settings and even starting to edit. I am already taking photos that I love and having a lot of fun whilst doing it. Jane is a great teacher; patient, knowledgeable, skilled and also makes the sessions fun. Absolutely loved the practical session too! Very happy to recommend Jane and I will be back for more lessons to extend my learning in the future.
