In these friendly workshops you’ll learn how to get the most from your phone camera and start taking photos you’re genuinely proud of.
We had a such a wonderful course today with Jane! Who knew a mobile phone could produce such amazing photos? Jane teaches in a really relaxed, fun way and there was a lot of laughter. The content was straightforward to follow and we learnt loads of really valuable lessons and tips to take forward. Phone Photography For Adults in Altrincham £100pp
A structured, hands-on workshop designed to help you properly understand how your phone camera works and how to take control of your images.
We’ll cover key techniques including light, composition, and editing, as well as how and when to adjust your phone’s settings to get the result you want, rather than leaving it to chance. The session includes a mix of guided teaching and practical photography around Altrincham.
Ideal if you want to build confidence and really understand what you’re doing, not just rely on luck.

Hi, I'm Jane and I'm a professional photographer and tutor. I've liked photography since I was a teenager but now I absolutely love it! And that's because I am really confident about taking the image I see in my mind's eye. I've learned how to use my camera and my phone, l understand what a huge difference light makes and I know how to use composition tools and editing to create photographs that connect with people.
And it's this knowledge, skill and enthusiasm that I'd love to share with you on this workshop. I used to be really frustrated and disappointed with the images I took with my phone but now I see it as a great and convenient alternative to my camera. By the end of this workshop you will too!
